Jon is a 23 year-old photographer currently based in Boone, North Carolina. He specializes in various forms of photography, specifically sports, concerts, events, and portraits. He works closely with a variety of athletes, artists, and brands providing them with high quality, creative images. Through years of experience behind the camera, Jon has been able to develop his own distinct photo style that is easily recognizable and eye-catching.
Jon currently works as the Athletics Photographer at Appalachian State University, where he creates and manages photo content for all 16 sports.
Previously, Jon currently worked as a Photographer for The Cleveland Guardians within the Live Experience & Production department. From photographing game-action, stadium atmosphere, fan engagement, and everything in between, he used his creative skills to encapsulate the experience of a day at Progressive Field.
Jon also previously worked for Penn State Football’s creative and social media staff as a Creative Photography Intern. His position consisted of creating and producing daily digital content that was directly shared across all of Penn State social media platforms (@pennstatefball ). In addition to capturing images on game-days to tell the story of the complete Penn State Football game-day experience, he was also responsible for creating behind the scenes content from practices and events, as well as assisting in the planning and execution of creative photoshoots for team media days and recruiting.
Jon is a 2023 Graduate from Pennsylvania State University’s School of Visual Arts where he obtained his Bachelor of Design degree in Professional Photography.
